Find what was torn from him
Yortzed carried two fangs as part of himself: Dominion, which let him seize the dying and never let go, and Memory, which let what he raised keep its self. Eephil tore both from his jaw the night she stole him from us.
His faithful still gamble in his name. Set your stake in coin — gold, silver, and copper — then divide it between the two fangs however you see fit — all on Dominion, all on Memory, or split between them.
One d20 roll answers for both fangs at once. The law is fixed and known. The result is final.
| Roll | Result |
|---|---|
| 1 | Fangless — as he was, stripped bare on the night of his fall. The wolf finds nothing to save. Both stakes are lost entirely, regardless of split. |
| 2–14 | Memory pays 1.3× on its stake. |
| 15 | Dominion pays 1.2× on its stake. |
| 16 | Dominion pays 1.5× on its stake. |
| 17 | Dominion pays 2.0× on its stake. |
| 18 | Dominion pays 2.5× on its stake. |
| 19 | Dominion pays 3.0× on its stake. |
| 20 | Made Whole — for one roll, Yortzed is whole. Dominion pays 8× its stake, and Memory pays its usual 1.3×. |
