With Yortzed imprisoned, Niddeth challenged Cesta to a race across Silver Coast to Dai's Watch Tower — no teleporting. Win, and Niddeth stops sowing confusing visions on travelers; lose, and Cesta surrenders his divinity.
Cesta was certain he'd win. He arrived to find Niddeth already waiting — she'd never moved, only projected herself there first. Cesta conceded and surrendered his essence, waking in Marble Sound as a halfling named Korbo, with no memory of ever being a god.
